Cookies and similar storage
A cookie is a small value saved by your browser and sent with relevant web requests. localStorage stores values in the browser for a website. Scripts, pixels and embedded content can also communicate with an external service even without setting a cookie. The absence of a cookie does not by itself mean that no information was sent.
We separate the technologies needed for the site and choices you request from optional analytics, advertising and embedded functions. Useful statistics or advertising income do not make an advertising tracker technically necessary.

Actual cookie names, domains and provider retention periods depend on the connected service and its technical inventory. The 180-day preference period is not a lifetime for all advertising or analytics records.
Before and after a decision
Before a decision, configured optional integrations are permitted by the site. The banner appears even when the optional service list is empty. Allow keeps them permitted and saves your decision. Necessary Only stops further optional loading, events, advertising refreshes and optional storage accessible to this site. Queued optional activity is cancelled; activity from the refusal period is not collected for sending after a later Allow.
Necessary Only preserves reading, catalogue search, Copy Script and .lua downloads, as well as requested theme preferences and language navigation. Refusing does not withdraw information already sent to a provider. We can remove known accessible storage on our own site, but cannot remove every cookie of an unrelated domain. How long the preference lasts
Your decision is stored for 180 days from the button press, together with the policy version, decision time and expiry. It is a setting for this domain, shared by its language versions, without an advertising visitor identifier. A browser storage copy can help synchronise tabs. A newer refusal takes priority over an older Allow. Visiting another page does not extend the period. The redz-theme theme preference stays in localStorage until cleared.
After expiry, the banner appears again. Clearing cookies or using another browser can remove the saved choice, so settings may need to be selected again. Blocking storage may prevent persistence between visits; the refusal still applies on the current page. A new optional provider follows an existing refusal. The setting is not synchronised with other independent websites in the network.

The valid newest cookie or storage decision takes priority; if times are equal, refusal wins. The cookie also supports the server form. If saving fails, refusal still stays active on the current page. Language is selected through the page URL, without a separate language cookie.

Use the controls on this page, or the Cookie settings link in the footer, to choose Allow or Necessary Only again. The server form also works without JavaScript. Opening a policy link does not change your choice. Browser controls can additionally clear or restrict cookies, although blocking essential browser features may affect how preferences are saved.
